አምስተርዳም በ 2020 የዩሮቪዥን የዘፈን ውድድርን አያስተናግድም ፡፡
አምስተርዳም ባለሥልጣናት ዓለም አቀፍ ለመያዝ ጨረታ አያቀርቡም አውሮፓ ለዕይታ የሚሆን ተስማሚ ቦታ ማግኘት ባለመቻላቸው በሚቀጥለው ዓመት ውድድር ማድረግ ፡፡ ውድድሩ በዚግጎ ዶሜ የቤት ውስጥ መድረክ እንደሚከናወን በመጀመሪያ ታቅዶ የነበረ ቢሆንም አዘጋጆቹ ቀደም ሲል የነበሩትን የአረና የኪራይ ውሎች እንደገና ማስተካከል አልቻሉም ፡፡
ባለሥልጣኖቹ ለዚግጎ ዶም ተስማሚ አማራጭ ማግኘት ስላልቻሉ የዩሮቪዥን 2020 ምኞቶችን ለመተው ተገደዋል ፡፡ አሁን Maastricht ፣ Arnhem ፣ Hertogenbosch ፣ Utrecht እና Rotterdam ዓለም አቀፍ ዝግጅትን የማስተናገድ መብት ይወዳደራሉ ፡፡
