Day 2 Krakow (visit), Kazimierz (the Jewish quarter)
Breakfast at the hotel.
9.30 Visit of Krakow which is one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in Poland. Wawel Hill with Wawel Castle, the cathedral, Old Town, Collegium Maius – the oldest building of the Jagielonian University, the largest market square in Europe, the Town Hall tower, the Cloth Hall, the church of the Holy Virgin Mary (entrance) with the altar of the great sculptor Wit Stwosz, short visit to the old wall near the Gate of Saint Florian and the Barbican. Walk through the old town of Krakow. In 1978 Krakow was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

15.30 Visit the Kazimierz Jewish Quarter, the center of religious and social life in Jewish Krakow, until the mass deportation of the local community during the Nazi occupation. Entrance to one of the synagogues included.
17.30 End of visits and free time to stroll through the traditional Christmas markets of Krakow.
20.30 Dinner. Night in Krakow.
Day 3 Krakow – Oswiecim-Brzezinka (Auschwitz-Birkenau) – Wieliczka Salt Mine – Krakow
Breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Oswiecim.
9.30 Visit to the territory of the former Nazi concentration and extermination camp Auschwitz-Birkenau, built by the Germans during the Nazi occupation of Poland. In this concentration camp, during World War II, the Nazis murdered more than a million people, most of them of Jewish origin. Today the former Auschwitz concentration camp is part of the UNESCO World Heritage.
13.00 Traslado a Wieliczka.

Visit to the salt mine – one of the oldest salt mines in the world that has been in operation since the 13th century. The mine forms an underground city, with chapels (Saint Kinga’s Chapel is the largest underground chapel in the world), lakes and tunnels. UNESCO heritage since 1978
Transfer back to Krakow.
20.30 Dinner. Night in Krakow.
Day 4 Krakow, return flight.
Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to Krakow airport to catch the flight back home.
